CHAPTER 141

I had not been able to sleep since Eva left the room. I was awake waiting for her to come up because I just can't sleep without her in my arms. The fear that she will slip away from my hands at any given opportunity is eating at me and I just can't help myself.

I needed the peace of mind that her being close to me brought to be able to allow myself doze off and even with that, I still would not let her out of my arms while asleep.

After the five minutes I told her, I got off from the bed, I was already in my pyjama trouser so I just put on the shirt and headed downstairs for my Little Bird.

Following her scent I traced her to the kitchen and she is with Godmother behind the kitchen Iceland.

"Hey, Daniel you are awake too."

"Yeah, I came to…" motioning to Eva who was smiling mischievously.

"Find your mate. I know. Now come over here and have something." She motioned me closer and I do.

Pouring out the signature milk she always gave me growing up she set out some cookies in a pla
