CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE

A dart of fear chilled Esther's bones. Simon wasn't okay, not at all! And she could feel it as if he was a part of him. When she heard Emilia shrieking out his name, she wanted to run to him, be there for him but had second thoughts, "He hates you, despises you and so does everyone. Why would you want to meddle? You have an unexpected plan, remember!" She told herself and looked at her suitcase she'd stuck in the corner and covered with a cloth. The time was nearing. This was the right opportunity to sneak out because everyone seemed distracted. She'd go out using the back door and pass through the small gate at the far end whose lock she'd broken earlier, or better still go out through the main gate since all the guards had followed Simon inside. All the Luck was on her side.
