Chapter Twenty

"Hop in, ihahatid na kita!"

My wrist watch hands move to the quarter of 3 in the morning. I'll bet my eyebags will be so full. Para na siguro akong bangkay na nakatakas sa kabaong. But anyways,I still have a 2 hours left to sleep for my tomorrows schedule.

"Salamat talaga ng marami, Bella. Kahit gaano ay nabawasan ang bigat at sakit dito sa puso ko!"

Abala siya sa pagmamaneho. "Wala iyon, dahil alam ko pag-ako na ang nagkaganyan gagawin mo rin ito sakin-Charot!"

Umiling ako. Bella seems born to be a joker but enough not to hurt everybody's feelings. Sa kaunting minutong nakasama ko siya ay gumaan ang pakiramdam ko. She is a gift of gab. So glad to be her friend at all.

"Ingat ka!" I waved at her when I got down of her Morris Garage car. "Thank you ulit!"
