Her Lucky Charm

I looked at myself in the full length mirror. I wore the red flowy dress and scanned myself without any emotion. Big day today.

I feel sick today, honestly. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve skipped some of my meals because of too much overthinking or that I only have a tiny bit of strength left in me today.

I sighed. I pursed my lips and wore my red lip stick as usual. This is for good luck. I need big luck today. I badly need one.

I ignored it, seeing my phone ringing and lighting up beside me. I don’t want to take calls today. I’m having internal turmoil. I need to be on character, or else, I’ll be fvcked up and all of our plans will go to waste.

This must’ve been the biggest scam I’ve done so far. And I’m afraid that if this succeeds, we’ll do more. With all the chaos that’s going on around me, I don’t think my conscience is working well with me right now.
