When She Loves

I stormed out and didn’t even mind them. I saw Knight looking so stoned because of what he saw. Right? Who would have thought of seeing their ex in his penthouse?

My tears clouded my eyes as I rushed to the common lift that the building had. It seems like I’m trying to control my emotions so that my tears won’t fall. I even bumped into someone when I got out of the lift. I rushed to the lobby, straight to the front door, and came down to my car that was parked.

I didn’t know where I was going. But I just wanted to escape.

The crowded place welcomed me. The place I usually call my workplace seems so foreign to me. Considering the last time I attended a party and a tragedy happened, it is still traumatizing for me.

But I had no choice; neither the silence would give me peace. This war that I’m feeling inside me is unbearable. I need a huge distraction.
