27|Weird Feelings

In the morning, Camari wasn't swimming as usual. I was doing laps by myself while she was by the pool with Jasper. I was starting to like our morning meetings. Doing activities with someone other than Jasper was fun.

I finished swimming, but they were still busy practicing. I covered my body with my robe and sat on one of the chairs. I checked my phone as I waited for them to finish.

“Thank you for waiting,” Camari cheerfully said. Her face looked fresh, with sweat on her forehead and neck. “Shall we go back now?”

“Sure,” I agreed. “You'll have breakfast at our place?”

“Is that an invitation?” she asked hopefully.

“You can have breakfast with us every morning. You're my assistant. We can discuss things before work,” I suggested.
