Chapter 26

After Ivana left, Arielle was left alone with her thoughts, she sighed as she went back to her bed, skipping her breakfast. After spending the entire morning inside her bed when her stomach asked for food, she dragged herself out of the bed and made her way to the kitchen, she sat with her plate in front of her but despite being hungry she had no interest in the food, she had been picking on it. She had her elbow on the table with her chin in her hand. She heaved a deep sigh. 

She closed her eyes but her eyes shot open when she heard his voice, "Ms. Forever hungry, why are you picking on your food?"

She blinked at her boss who was sitting opposite her, "What are you..." She then trailed off, she closed her eyes and shook her head, when she opened them, he was gone. 

"Whoa!" Arielle got goosebumps. "I need some glucose in my system, I've started hallucinating!" She grabbed her spoon and stuffed the heated waffle inside her mouth.
