Chapter fifty-one - Confessions

It's a pretty exhausting morning. The day had barely started and I was already full. I wonder how I let my life get to this point.

It was frustrating to discover that going to the clinic had not borne any fruit since it was my only lead to follow. I even considered sneaking in there in the middle of the night, but the last thing I need right now is to get arrested for trespassing.

Geneva so far hasn't brought me any ideas either, I imagine the trip to the clinic has moved her even more than it did me.

The hours went by and for the rest of the day I spent stuck in my office signing and reviewing some papers, I left just for a few minutes for my lunch and came back as soon as I could.

At least today, the new secretary wasn't a problem.

At the end of the day, I offered a ride to Geneva who preferred to go home alone, I understood and respected her space, it had been a busy day for both of us and I recognized that.

My bath was long, they say a hot bath can help you relax but I imagine my
