"Where are you headed to?" Daxon asked just as I was leaving the room. I didn’t know he would be waiting for me outside the room.

After our last conversation, his interruption really got to me. I had to look away and take a deep breath in order to start a normal conversation with him.

"To the kitchen," I lied.

"Didn’t you just eat?" he asked when watching time on his wristwatch.

"I am still hungry," I said without giving him a glance.

"Ah okay. That’s good. I don’t mind you eating a lot. I like curvy ones, anyway," he shrugged and then mumbled, "I will be heading out to a party. Hope you will not miss me too much," he smirked and caressed my cheek when I pulled away from him and warned him through my angry stare.

"Opsie! You have only a few days to act all sassy," he commented before walking away.

It was a pity that I couldn’t break his face right then and there. But if I did so, I would get called out for it.

I sneaked out after making sure Daxon was long gone to meet up with Reynard
