Chapter 44

Eventually, Sean and Scott decided to visit the prison. On the way, Sean said, “Scott, somehow I feel weird about this Fred. He hasn't returned to his house since yesterday morning. The same day as Lisa's disappearance. Did he have anything to do with all of this?”

"I do not know. We can't just accuse him. We'll see later when we've finished all our plans," Scott replied.

Then, they both arrived at the prison. Accompanied by several prison guards, they met and talked to Mr. James and his men. From that conversation, Scott and Sean did not get any meaningful information that could lead them to find Lisa.

When one of the guards opened the room door for Scott and Sean, suddenly Mr. James stopped them and said, "If my guess is right, you might ask Katie, maybe she knows something."

Scott stopped and turned, then looked at Mr. James with a sharp and questioning look, “Katie? What does all this have to do with Katie?”
