Chapter 59- Dangerous Attack

Vera's POV

I woke up early in the morning because I still need to fix my things. My flight for Canada will be at nine, so I need to leave the house one hour before the boarding time. Suddenly, my cellphone rang, and I picked it up after knowing that it was coming from Alexa.

"Hi gurl, is your decision already fixed?", she asked.

"Yes, gurl. I need to start a new life and forget the sad memories here."

I heard Alexa's deep sigh from the other line, obviously feeling sad about my decision to stay with my mom in Canada.

"Well, that's for your own good gurl, and for the baby of course. Just don't forget to keep in touch with me okay?", she said with a quavering voice.

"Yes gurl, thank you so much. I'll hang up now. Bye!"

After having my conversation with Alexa, I grabbed my towel and walked into the bathroom. I was not really feeling good, thinking that I would be away from my brother for quite some time. But I need to do it because it's the best thing for me and for my baby.
