I still couldn't believe that Quinn had refused to talk to me since the previous night, she didn't even let me hold her while she slept.

We were now in the dining room, and all she did was stare at my mother but I understood the reason for her stare.

It wasn't new news that human foods were not always enjoyed by wolves but the case was different with my newly found mother. She kept devouring any chunk of the meal she could find and it was enough to bother me.

" Mother, don't you think it's too much?" I asked.
