“What the hell was Jake doing here?”

Ethan pretended as if he didn’t hear me and turned away. I gritted my teeth in anger and turned him around to face me.

“How could you invite him, Ethan? After knowing that he was one of the reasons we broke up!” I said.

“Do not rekindle old memories, Skylar.” He warned me. “And this isn’t the right time to talk about the past.”
