Chapter 52

The demon prince had never been missing at all.

He had just had his memories removed and didn’t know who he really was. Now Caiden knew Azrael had been telling the truth earlier. His reply claiming that he wasn’t the demon prince had told Azrael that he still didn’t know the truth and the demon had hurriedly fallen in line with the lie.

His favourable treatment had been because he was the prince of the demons and not because anyone genuinely liked him.

“Um, can you act like we didn’t tell you anything?” Ben requested awkwardly. “We slipped up.”

That comment further confirmed that older demons knew who he really was and weren’t supposed to tell him anything.

“I won’t say anything,” Caiden said.

He stood up and stormed off in the direction of the royal castle. There was one person he could talk to who would settle this.
