I came out of the convenience store with a bagel in my hand and met the intern, Sebastian, from our company.

Although he was an intern, he was actually a silver-spooned kid who came to experience the life of the people who worked at the grass-root level. The expensive outfits on him said it all.

"Good morning, Yvette!"

"Good morning," I yawned and watched Sebastian take a bottle of milk from his backpack, then hand it to me. "Is this for me?"

"Yeah." Sebastian touched his head and smiled naively, "Yesterday, I noticed you were in a bad mood. You'll feel better after drinking something sweet."

It gave me a bit of comfort in my miserable career to have such a thoughtful intern.

When I went upstairs, the boss asked me to go to the office to talk. Also, he used the opportunity to introduce the director that joined our company suddenly this month. The director would take my boss' position and become my direct supervisor.
