Chapter 26: Despondency

Once out of the Sophia’s room, Lisa submerged her face in her own palm and set about to be in tears. Samuel contemplating at her for a long period of time, went close by her and held her in his warm arms, placing her head in his shoulder.

“Sophia was this vary broken Samuel, when uncle aunt left this world. The blank gaze she held at that time were strongly implying she is broken to the core, as if she is all alone.”

Lisa spoke in between her sobs.

“I don’t know Samuel, what have transpired there in between the two, but now Sophia is holding the self-same look, as if she is all forsaken again. She already had started to fall for him. Why would that son of bitch smash to smithereens her trust?”
