Kieran walks out of Mt Sinai Hospital in a daze. He had a son; he knew it in his gut that Killian was his - the child had his eyes, the Teagues all had those eyes. How would he broach this subject with Devyn? They had just made progress in their relationship and now he would introduce yet another hurdle. Should he tell her about the child now, or when the paternity tests were in?

He wonders if she would stick around after this. If she didn’t, he would understand but there was no way that he would abandon his son. That wasn’t how he was brought up; he would never leave family behind.
