Marcus walked away without care; it wasn't like he was obliged to help the boy even if he had caused the accident, but Frank needed to know that good morals were never going to get him out of poverty.

Being good had nothing to do with success; he admired the boy's good character, but he had to drop it for this one act, save his brother, and live happily ever after with loads of cash.

Frank was left standing, fists clenched, beating himself for asking the stupid man for a loan. It took all his pride away; he even wanted to get on his knees if it had gone that far, but the wicked man only wanted him to impregnate his wife in exchange for the money.

He chuckled in disbelief; it was the twenty-first century, and he had never met such a backward man.

His phone rang, jolting him out of his shock. It was his mother, crying on the other end of the line.

"Frank, they are saying I can't sell the house and the farm," she cried out.
