Chapter 47

Laurel laid beside Vivian on the mattress. She was weak and tired as she had exhausted herself using her abilitiy. She breathed faintly but she would live as Roy and Laurel had done all they could for her. Roy had removed the rod from her heart after debating whether he should do it or not. Though, they seemed to be losing her at first but being that Laurel was a healer. She had to do everything she could to heal her mother while Cara and Roy tried to teach her how she would heal herself.

Laurel looked at her mother as she laid still, just getting better. She smiled and exhaled. She never thought this day would come. She thought she would never get to see her again. She recalled what Cara said about her mother, when she told her that since they don't know what had happened to her, then she might still be alive. She sat up and looked at Cara who was right beside Roy. She smiled to her but Cara wasn't watching.
