Chapter 91

Cara shook her head as she had just woken up from blacking out. She could hear voices whispering and could sense that she was surrounded by bunches of people. Her eyes still felt tired and her head pounded, making her feel a slight headache. She slightly opened up her eyes and noticed that she was moving. Her shackles was already broken but yet, she was not freed.

She was placed on a cargo, rode by two horses. She immediately checked out her neck if the barrier was still there. "Oh, not again," She whispered.

"Cara... Cara, you're awake," Laurel whispered from behind her. She stood up immediately and looked behind her only to see Laurel and Priya including Kyle were locked in a cage.

"Thank God you're alive," She muttered and nodded her head at Kyle. Kyle bowed his head and could not look at Cara in the eyes. He felt sorry as he was unable to save her. "You don't have to feel that way Kyle, we all did what we could... I hope Roy would be aware of this," She said to him.
