The early afternoon sun filled the room. I looked around, uncertain where I was. The last thing I remembered was the blinding pain of claws tearing at my sides. Someone had put me in sweatpants and bandaged my wounds. Sucking air between my teeth, I winched as I moved myself into a sitting position to get a better look at my surrounding.
“Ah, good. You’re up. I’ve brought some food for you. You’ll heal faster if you eat.” A man said cheerily as he entered the room from a door to my left.
