Jasyn stared at the scene before him, having multiple thoughts on what to do and how to react. Here he was, thinking of ways to impress the woman not knowing that the governor was actually with her, just like Yolanda had said.

"Yolanda was right?" He whispered under his breath.

"Don't be stupid, Jasyn." Diana scolded. "Eugene is just surprised and a little morbid that someone as insignificant as I am dared to challenge him. He is trying to intimidate me with his size but apparently, I can't be intimidated."

Jasyn began to calm down. His wolf was almost coming out, he didn't know why he was already feeling possessive over Diana. She had zero interest in him.

"Your face." He said. Diana touched it, feeling that the wound had been covered. She couldn't scratch herself before the men.

"Hm, I guess the last one I applied still works." She said, "That being said, Eugene, thank you for the enlightenment. It was so good having this discussion with you."

Eugene nodded. "Thank you, Diana." He
