“I’m sorry I think I heard you wrong. I thought I heard you say, ‘I kissed Lucille’ but I couldn’t have heard that because I know my mate wouldn’t do that to me.” Roman’s eyes refused to meet my own only confirming my bastard father correct. “Get out. I can’t look at you right now.” Turning away from him I laid painfully on my side.
