CHAPTER FORTY - THE WATERFALL

The night was clear and the wind was refreshing my almost boiling body, but that wasn't enough to calm the waves of heat that came from deep inside my body.

My wolf wanted to switch places every second I lost focus and thought of something else. So in order not to lose control, I took my shirt off first. Then my bra and then each remaining item of clothing, one at a time, laying them on the chair when I was done.

I went down the two steps and in no time found myself on the back lawn. My paws tingled as I walked towards the forest. Touching the cold, damp vegetation with such familiarity it was startling. My blood seemed to be pulsing more than in the other transformations and it was the first time I had run like this in the middle of a full moon.

Smells and sounds were more vibrant. They made my feelings and my wolf's more vivid, more connected. Allowing everything to become clearer and more delivered to the intimate of the night. And the heat... It only made the sensations increase
