Emma’s POV

My body begins to shake, "Austin, I'm so very frightened..."

He doesn't give me the chance to finish the sentence. He firmly grasps my hand and pulls me along with him down the hallway.

"But Ryan -"

"It's too late, he is already asleep. My apartment is here," he ignores my protest as he throws open the door to the apartment, pulling me inside before closing the door.

He hugs me in his arms and holds me close against his chest, my body instantly surrounds by his perfume, a heady aroma.

"Let go of me,” I demand as his fingers now curl about the top of my arm and pull my body toward him until our bodies are almost touching.

The distance is close enough that I can feel the heat of his muscular body and breathe in his seductive combination of aromas.
