Chapter 64

Emma's POV

I'm pretty happy at being surrounded by my family. Dad says I touch my nose as soon as I even think of lying. My big brother Elton jokes about the time I wrote absence notes for myself after going shopping.

"Dear dad and brothers," Elton read. "Please excuse Emma from today's dinner as I'm poor with women's problems."

Dad had struggled to keep a serious face even while he was supposed to be tearing a strip off me.

We spent the next couple of days trying to know each other better, cooking together in the galley kitchen, and I was already discovering new things about Elton. Like, he is good at cooking turkey.

At night I slept in a huge room with seven maids looking after me. I felt like living in the heaven. But today, before I drop off to sleep, I'm lost in my thoughts.

I feel a little uncomfortable, and being a werewolf, we rarely get sick.
