I walked into my room seeing Chloe standing in front of the mirror, staring at herself, she looked to be in her own world, whenever she looked like this, deep in thought I worried it was about him.

I know she loves me, that we are mates, we chose one another, we marked one another, it meant something, we were deeply connected but he is her fated mate. She marked him but never let him mark her, I do knownshe worries, especially knowing everything she knows now, knowing he isn't being cruel by choice. Her emotions were everywhere right now.
