To say that I was surprised beyond all measure, was a complete understatement.

My cheek felt like it was burning as Julie left it, the feeling of her lips being imprinted onto my face.

She smacked her lips and smiled at me, dropping her head back into the bed as our eyes met in an intense gaze. After a few seconds of silence, she finally said something.

“There,” she began. “That is my gift to you.” A short pause. “Did you like it?” Her eyes were hooded, whether it was because of how tipsy she was due to the beers, or a hint of something else, I did not know.

I blinked slowly at her, trying to find the words to say.
