CHAPTER 128

"Well, Bruno asked that I should come out of hiding. He tried to attack me and I ran. Then I bumped into Claire in the woods".

"When you say Claire, you mean the Claire that was working here?" The Claire that betrayed you?" Alice asked, wide eyed.

"Yes. I swear I would have strangled her at the spot but then,she saved me". Alicia confessed.

"How?"

"She once told me she's a banshee. She has the ability to communicate with the dead. So she allowed us get captured and when we were brought in front of Bruno and the King of Syrak, she invoked the spirit of  Bruno's mother to life".

Alice could only stare in shock. She processed her sister's words one after the other. It was a pretty hard nut to chew.

"I'm still trying to understand you. But it's hard to believe. I'm utterly confused". Alice said.
