CHAPTER 94
After Bruno left the Redmine forest with the King of Syrak, things changed for him.
It marked a new beginning for him.
He was sent to a warm and comfortable room in the palace, and the royal doctor and attendants were assigned to him.
It was the order of the King of Syrak that he was properly taken care of and well fed.
It felt like Bruno was in a very interesting dream. He pinched himself to be sure he wasn't receiving those good treatments in his dreams.
'Maybe this is a compensation to me from the immortals up high. They exist afterall. I must have been so foolish to doubt their existence.' Bruno thought to himself.

Alice reached for a whitish substance beneath her garment and sprayed a handful, in the jug of wine. She shook it vigorously and set out, heading back to the King's chambers. "Stop there!" The head guard ordered as he sighted Alice heading towards them.

"Who dared to go against my order?" The voice echoed in the King's chambers. Alice looked at the king with wide eyes but he was back into his unconscious state. Huh? What was going on? Didn't he just jilt out of his unconscious state? "Oh see who we have here." The owner of the voice said to Alice. Shivers ran down her spine as she beheld the owner of the voice. It was the grand queen. "Spare my life, your highness." Hot sweats emanated from her body and soaked her cloth like she was beaten by the rain.
