I woke up late…. Despite chanting ‘don’t oversleep’ repeatedly in my head as I drifted off to sleep last night, I still slept in. The sweet dream I was having did not make it easier for me to wake up either. Everything was just perfect in the dream, Rosaria and I were mated and we had our own little pups, a boy and a girl. We were so happy that I didn’t want it to end……
“Alpha, wake up, we have an hour left to head over to the venue,” Michael’s voice was like a bucket of cold water spilled over my head. I sprang out of bed and looked at the time, a little dazed. Shit.
“Why are you only waking me up now?” I asked him angrily. He was already dressed in a navy blue suit but he only came to wake me up an hour before the wedding. Did he plan to attend a wedding without its groom?
“I-I thought you were up and dressed already. Only came to check on you because you took to long to come down stairs,” he answered nervously.
