"Ezra, I highly suggest we must get back to your apartment, first. It's not safe for him to be outside right now, is it?" I propose before I offer some clothes for Razel.

Both of them did not argue about my proposal as they hopped into the backseat right away. I, on the other hand, hopped into the driver's seat and took off.

On our way back to Ezra's apartment, I could not help but glance at them from the rearview mirror. Ezra had a lot of things that bothered his mind but he chose to wait for the right time considering the man seated next to him was in deafening silence.

On the bright side, his trembling nerves and bothered mind were already gone. Perhaps it was because his stepbrother was already on his side.

Then he leaned his head on the window and closed his eyes. Ezra manages to notice me glancing at them so I focus on the main road ahead of us.
