Ava POV

My head has been pounding really hard and I had no idea why, it started right after me and Lucien did whatever we did that brought all this people back to being okay; whatever that stopped them all from dying.

I held my head trying to repress the pain within myself and not make myself a burden by telling my mate what’s going on with me. I actually have no idea what.

I glanced to see my mate’s father; Alpha Derek on his feet looking ahead of him, I shifted my gaze to his direction to see nothing. ‘Is something wrong?’ I wondered in my thought.

My mate stood up just immediately after walking away from us and his father along with this husky looking guard that held with him a weapon I have never seen in my life, a sheath was made for the big weapon and he was carrying it around with him.

His father then followed leaving the rest of us here to confusion and curiosity of what’s going on. Not long his mother also stood up excusing us and leaving the rest
