Chapter Eighty-Eight

Just you and me.

I’m still in wet clothes but I am wrapped in a towel and standing in the middle of the front room. Hong and Axel have both removed their clothes and are wearing towels wrapped around their waists, showing their pecks and six packs. They don’t know it, and I won’t tell them, but their lack of clothing is making me uncomfortable. To them, it’s normal…shifting in groups means seeing each other all the time but I’m not used to that still. My flashbacks are still playing tricks on me and I’m standing in the middle of the room so that I can see any attempt to close in on me from each and every angle. They have numerous of times pleaded with me to sit down, to rest. But they don’t understand that I’ve gone into survivor mode. Axel tries to reach for me again but I flinch from his touch and stand watching him, my wolf coming forward.
