Chapter Forty-Nine

Smelling of lycans.

It actually wasn’t too bad as cells go! It was comfortable but the chains attached to the wall had me feeling things could turn sour anytime soon. The walls were painted magnolia, with scuff marks on the lower parts most likely from frustrated captives kicking out. The door was a strong wood most likely oak, with a barred window for the brutes to regularly check on me. By two hours I was done! My politeness about the situation was turning to anger.

“Am I going to be held much longer?” I ask through the barred window of the door.

“Alpha is a very busy man miss. He will be back once he has checked your identity. To make sure you aren’t a rogue!”

“Do I smell like a rogue?” I reply with a smirk.

“No miss!” One of the brutes chuckles at me.

I sigh, realising I was going to have to use my full name.

“Tell your alpha my name is Aida Sagar of the Sagar Wolf Pack. I mean no harm and didn’t know I had trespassed. I have friends that will be worried about my whereabout

Please update soon, I don’t know how many books I have abandoned due to a lack of updates and just loosing interest. Your book is interesting and I went again my better judgement starting to read an unfinished book. Please don’t let me regret it.
