Chapter Ninety-One

Six Silver Bullets.

Lance’s grip on my hand is strong, possessive. He pulls me away from the car and through his guards into the stronghold of his apartment. He bolts the door behind us and pushes me up against the door. He starts to shift, teeth elongating and I can see in his eyes, just how desperate he is to mark me, for me to wear his mark, branding me claimed for all to see. His nose touches my inner neck and my legs give way by his seductive added growl. He catches me, his arms strengthening out to ensure I do not fall, never in his presence.

“What did he want?” He seethes as he touches my hair and checks me for any remaining scent of Alpha Hansen, any place he might of touched me.

“He said he mentioned a trade…” I decide to only tell him what Lance already knows. My father’s health is a threat to the pack if leaked inadvertently.

“You are mine!” His wolf roars, cutting me off. He lifts me up, swooping my legs from under me and carries me like newlyweds into his bedroom. He
