Chapter One Hundred & Three

Guardianship

I was in a trance for the next two days. I was a robot. Alpha asked me to do something, I did it. Without fear, without thinking about it. I acted like a warrior. His constant smiling was evidence enough that I was doing what was expected of me.

Axel was now back on Aida Watch. He tried to soothe the tension between us and for him it worked, I was old Aida again. One step forward, always two steps backs. But this time felt like five steps back.

He left a note, he had enough time to write a note but not enough time to physically come and find me to say goodbye. His note said he was training with Blake’s brothers, going back to basics on their plentiful land in wolf form. That I need not worry and he will be back soon. That he loves me and couldn’t wait to mark me, he just has to control his emotions first.
