A mystery

Melvin walked sluggishly back home, his eyes were dazed and his lips dry like an aftermath of hamattan,his skin looked pale and his entire body ache and shook from excessive shock.

The creek of the door spurred Natalie and Chloe up and they rushed to him with hightenend curiosity. Natalie tilted her head sideways , then she noticed the detective standing him.

"Detective?...what is wrong...,is it true? She's not the one right? Why does he look so pale and dry" she inquired

The detective took a long breath and shook his head before making tsk,tsk sound with the tip of his tongue.

" Ma'am, I honestly wish I can answer your questions right now, he hasn't spoken a word since he saw the body,he suddenly fell to the ground as he walked, I really thought he was a tough man, until I saw him shiver like a baby who was abandoned by his mother.
