“I would never be complete without you in my life.” Those words echoed in Amber’s ears. After their talks on the rooftop, she didn’t say anything to Devlin. But he told her that he would do everything to get her back. He apologized that it took him five years to finally make a move.

She learned from him that he has been following everything she has done for the last five years of her life. He told her that he had her followed closely. And he even would go discreetly just to get a glimpse of her.

After all these years, she thought she would be ready to face him. There were many times with her conversation with Devlin that she was slowly melting to his words. However, she tried to hold back.
