The two scariest women in the country stood across each other with completely different expressions on their faces. It was like how the gloomiest person that resembles the dark night finally meets the brightest person that resembles the shining sun.

“You tricked us,” Dakota spoke, ignoring what the latter had just said.

“Not really. I know you wouldn’t die anyway.” Ruby let out a chortle.

The green-haired woman internally rolled her eyes as she returned her gun back in her blazer. “So, what do you want? Don’t tell me you just called us here to try to kill us?”

“What if that’s right?” The green-eyed woman playfully smirked as she stepped closer to the latter and dusted her blazer before resting her hands on the taller woman’s broad shoulders.

“Just tell me what you want.”

Ruby let out a chuckle in amusement at how short her rival’s patience was, and she loved it—she loved the fact that she was literally annoying her.
