Chap 28: Confessions
" That's my roommate, Aiden," Noah introduced Aiden to his parents.
" And he's my dad Daryl and mom, Amelia."
" It's good to finally meet you. We have heard a lot about you from Noah," Daryl said with a smile.
" Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Wright," Aiden wished and smiled awkwardly at Daryl and Amelia, wondering why Noah would discuss him with his parents. He suddenly stiffened when Amelia hugged him lovingly.
"I was dying to meet you," Amelia said, breaking the hug while Aiden was surprised at their excitement over seeing him. Is this how all friends' parents behave?
Aiden's awkwardness in being at this party soon faded away because, exactly like Noah, even his family members were easy to talk to. Soon the time flew by, and Aiden no longer felt out of place.
" He's so cute," Noah's sister Nora whispered to Noah, looking at Aiden talking to Jay and Rob.
