A searing pain shot through Sia. She felt like her heart was being crushed under huge boulders.
She had to thrust her fist into her mouth to muffle the sobs that threatened to escape. They had killed her uncle, her guardian, her life!
She felt like the air had left her lungs. Wait, how did everything turn black? How did uncle vanish suddenly?

Sia woke up groggily. She felt that something was off. You know that feeling we get as if the landscape has changed on us.
