Chapter 55 - Save Her

Among all the people who were bowing limply next to Alfred whose body was lying on the ground, only Gabriel did not show any sadness at all. His eyes were fixed on Alfred's body which was not covered in blood at all, even though it was hit by a bullet. He even managed to smile casually.

"Never mind your charade, you better stop. I know you didn't actually get hit by a bullet at all," said Gabriel.

"Aish, I found out!" Alfred cursed himself.

Everyone around him was shocked, especially Violet, who had overreacted and immediately changed drastically.

"Alfred, don't tell me you just fooled everyone?"

“You really don't think long, Violet. Did you forget? My body is protected by a bulletproof vest.” Alfred slowly raised
