POV

A familiar smell in the air, I know exactly where I am before I open my eyes. I was in a hospital bed for over a damn week, I will never forget the torture it was. I am scarred for the rest of my life.

I never want to see another damn hospital bed any time soon. Or ever at all.

I sit up, opening my eyes. Ah my headache is gone, the pounding is gone, that is a relief.

“You’re awake, how are you feeling?” Damon asks.

I smile nodding. “Good, the pounding in my head is gone, I feel better than I did when I woke up a week ago.” I tell him.

“I will get your doctor; you’re not allowed to get up before that. Axel also woke up a little while ago.” just as he says that Axel wakes in.

I cringe at the look of my little brother’s face. “What the hell happened to your face?” I ask him, teasingly.
