41: Ever Changing!

After a long drive, Axel finally arrived home.

He entered the mansion and saw Mae about to go upstairs, carrying a food tray. "What is the food for, Mae?" he asked the maid.

"It's for your wife, sir," replied Mae.

"Why? She doesn't like eating in the dining room?" he asked.

"She's not feeling well lately. I think she had a flu. She vomited the entire food that she had eaten during lunch. And she vomited last night as well. She also got a cold and sneezed quite a lot," Mae elaborated.

Axel's brows creased. "Did she already take medicine?" he asked, climbing the staircase in a giant stride.

"Yes, I bought medicine from the pharmacy yesterday, and she's been taking it, but she's still feeling sick. But she has no fever, though," Mae explained.

Axel was already at the top of the staircase, walking briskly towards the master's bedroom. When he entered the room, Sherry was lying on the bed, looking ill. He rushed to her side. "Are you OK? What happened to you?" he asked, touching her forehe
