Chapter 10

We got to the hospital about 10 am. Owen had been moved to the same floor as Emily. The staff at hospital thought it would be on better judgment to hold Emily another night too to just keep an eye on her head injury. Owen was sitting up in bed when we got there. Emily was in his room, in a wheelchair. Kathy stayed the night with her, and wheeled her down here before she left.

The doctor came in while we were there. They were going to keep him a few days to make sure all went well with surgery. He really busted up his right leg, and had some internal bleeding. So they need to make sure he is ok, before he gets sent to Spaulding for a few weeks for rehab. But, he was alive and that was all that mattered.

While we were there Emily got a call from the Police station. The driver of the other vehicle is 100% at fault. They have surveillance video from the stores at the intersection. He Flew through the stop sign, causing the accident. “We will be calling a Lawyer on Mond
