THIRTY THREE

         I forced my smile to remain in place. His knuckles were white gripping the steering wheel. His face was masked but his eyes were flashing fire and sometimes, it turned normal forest green. His jaw was tense. 

      He promised to talk to me later. After seeing his sour mood. I have changed my mind. 

      I eyed him closely, keeping my expression neutral, though my heart was slamming against my chest. I wasn't trying to hide it as his wolf could hear it easily, without making any effort. 

       He drew his brows as he looked at me. The question was over the tip of his tongue. 

      "It's too late. The Headmaster won't punish me," I said.
