“Shit! it was all one big distraction. Shit!” The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them and suddenly, I heard Tristan’s voice across the radio.

Rather than announcing the problem to all the warriors I mind linked my mate, so thankful for the unlimited distance that came with the mark of a mate.

CaliIt was like watching the dust settle after a storm in the desert, the green light seemed to dim and shower down blinking from existence where it met the ground, each grain of light causing a sprig of fresh grass to grow or a flower to bloom on the trampled battle worn terrain.
