I was a little bit amazed that Damian hadn’t split his knuckles yet. I had never really watched a man work out before but even still I doubted that they usually attacked the bag with such gusto. He was trying to get the frustration out, I got that but at the same time I wished there was an easier way.

‘They found a trail, they are following now, we’re only five minutes behind.’ Tristan’s voice sounded in my head before the link disconnected as quickly as it came. He didn’t have time for chit chat he was just keeping me up to date.

Not wanting to interrupt Damian while he seemed to be somewhat coping, I kept the information to myself and simply sat and watched as he continued to pound his fists into the leather.

I couldn’t help but wonder though, if this is what Tristan was like when I was taken and I vowed then and there to be extra cautious in future, God I would do anything I cou
