The discovery

It was the fourth day of Sam as the assistant of Ronald and he found the job quite nice. But he knew his mission and he knew that he needed to put a stop to whatever Ronald was planning but he had not heard Ronald uttering any word about the vaccine and now Sam was beginning to doubt Marie. 

"Here ! Take these files into the big room to the left. And......umm....yes.......bring the thick red long notebook from there, alright? Now go on",said Ronald to Sam

Sam took the files that Ronald gave him and continued his way to the door,when Ronald again said,

" Hey, listen, there is Starbucks nearby . Bring me a cold foam iced espresso from there while I am doing some of my work and remember to check my e-mails when you have returned."

"Alright ",said Sam and went out of the room .

Sam went to the room as Ronald had instructed and kept down the files and picked up the red thick notebook. Sam noticed something weird about it. The notebook was not something as new as the other possessions of Ronald . It was old and looked withered and some pages were sticking out of it. It looked like Ronald had been working on it for many years. It's condition was quite bad.

Sam picked up the notebook and instead of going to Ronald and giving the notebook he took it and continued his way out of the building to Starbucks to get the Espresso for Ronald and a mocha for himself. Not for once did he consider about the stupid decision he had taken . Either he could have left the notebook in the room and picked it up when he had got the Espresso or he could have gone and given the notebook to Ronald and then gone to have the Espresso for him. 

So with the notebook in his hand he went into Starbucks and gave the order

"One cold foam iced espresso and one white chocolate mocha ", said Sam to the girl behind the counter.

"That's quite a nice choice.",said the girl smiling at him .

"Thanks....", muttered Sam to the girl, going red and taking a seat in one of the chairs.

Sam absent-mindedly opened the notebook. 

Ronald had drawn some pictures and scribbled many reactions and written manty things and just to pass time , Sam started reading.

And he read,

"The main procedure of the transmission of this is to either scratch , bite or saliva .[advantage]

It is not transferred through air[drawback]

It paralizes the sense to think [advantage]

It increases the ability to see in darkness.[advantage]

They start to work at a given code word[big advantage]

They won't hurt the one who gives the commands [big advantage]

They will rip,tear,kill anyone they are commanded to[advantage]

Strongest Human power× 10 = their power[ advantage]

They are afraid of height,i.e; they can die if thrown from a height[drawback]

They don't have feelings [advantage]

Advantages outnumbered drawbacks. Mission ready to proceed✓∆

The chemicals and equipments ready for use at its best. 

No problems detected. All ready . Just waiting for the test. On Hugo. The strongest guard. 

Waiting for the result.

Scheduled on Friday."

Sam stared at the page for a long time and his face was white as chalk.

His mind started racing.

"So this is the notebook where Ronald notes down all the dangerous experiment. So that is what the vaccine is. Worse than a human........... Paralizes senses....... transmitted by bites and scratches............ To be experimented on Hugo...this Friday......", whispered Sam to himself

"Are you alright sir?",said the girl with two Starbucks mugs in her hand."I called out to you three times. I was asking the names sir .....the names to write on them"

Sam just stared blankly at the girl and then said,"no need "

He grabbed the two cups from her hand and stood up 

"Are you alright sir? You look terrible",said the girl.

"I am not okay.....I am terrified.....I am not alright.......", muttered Sam indistinctly and grabbed the notebook in the other hand the coffee cups in other he made his way to the building .... towards Ronald.

Leaving the bemused girl staring at him confusedly, as he left without another word.
